Emirates Airlines in Las Cruces, New Mexico - Emirates Airline - No one is ready to listen the truth

Despite having a excellent air crew, Emirates ground staff including checking in, customer care and administrative staff is one of the worst in the world. It seems their general aim is to change the gates and do not inform passengers and hence declare people 'NO SHOW' ( even if it happened due to mistake of their own staff) so that people have to buy heavy fair tickets after being stuck up at the air port. Probably, they consider it as additional source of income so they don't take any steps to stop this. Furthermore, if you miss one flight, they declare you NO SHOW for all up coming connecting flights of the trip and everything is fine for them till the time they are getting more money. At airport, they are the judge by themselves and can dismiss the complain of customer against their staff despite clear proofs as Money is their only religion, only ethics, only moral value.Their customer care staff is good for nothing, and worst thing is that there is nobody to listen, no where to complain, no means of getting justice except by courts. I request the higher ups of the company to please, For God's sake, open your eyes and save this precious airline, listen to the customers and take action against the black sheep in the airline who are defaming its reputation. I am thinking to claim $100,000 as damages in US courts as no body is ready to listen in the airline. I hate Emirates ground staff and i will not travel by Emirates again.

I will never fly with Emirates again. They did not allow me to hand carry a briefcase and a laptop because both were exceeding 7 Kg.

They force me to put my laptop in my suitcase. However on the plane I noticed that other passengers had much bigger hand baggage.

The lady who was checking us in was very shrewd. We asked to speak with the manager but she says he is not here. I, a 16 year old, said "it is a weekday how is the manager not here" and she replied "it's none of your business". I was shocked that some one who is supposed to respect customers talked to me, a child, like that. She was also racist against us indians being a middle eastern woman. She wasn't wearing a name tag so no one in our family knows her name. This was in chicago international airport at the checkin baggage and ticket desk.

Emirates Airlines in Malden, Massachusetts - Poor service by Emirates Staff at Dubai

Travelled 1st and last time in Emirates from Boston to Dubai-Bahrain in March of 2016.Wanted to see the Dubai and we went to the Emirates ounter. I should say the Emirates ground staff were so indifferent and were of no help. Coming back to US, there were delays at Dubai and the ground staff handled the situation at the airport so bad and were of no help. Missed the connecting flight to Boston and stood in crowded lines for 4+ hrs at midnight before getting a seat in next flight . Surprised to see the arrogant attitude of the staff in Dubai. Emirates mgmt. must look into these issues and take corrective actions otherwise people have better choices to go thru Ethihad/Qatar Air for travel to middle east and beyond. Good bye Emirates..!!

The passenger is responsible for having proper passports and visas. Although your wife's visa may be proper, her passport is not valid for the required 6 months.

See U.S. Department of State which quotes as follows for Thailand: "PASSPORT VALIDITY: Six months from date of entry." Since your wife did not have 6 months on her passport, her entry would not have been proper according to the rules. You should have checked this out and had her passport renewed before you started your trip.

Your post states that Thailand has not problem with the 5 1/2 month passport.

Certainly any country can waive its requirements. But the airlines operate and have to operate on what the rules clearly state. It is not the airlines' fault her passport was set to expire.

Anything you get from the airlines is a gift you should be grateful for, and especially don't expect any $10,000 to be paid because of a mistake you made.
