Emirates airlines - no vegetarian food available

I along with my colleague , Shyam Agarwal had booked flights from Delhi to Chinese cities via dubai and return to Delhi with Emirates . My PNR No. was H35JN2. In total, my entire itinerary was : delhi - dubai 4th feb dubai - shanghai - 5th feb Guanghzhou - dubai - 13th feb Dubai - delhi - 14th feb . In all the 4 legs of the flight, both me and Shyam agarwal had to go without food since Emirates could not provide us with the Indian vegetarian meal. It was a painful experience of having to go without food for more than 7/8 hour duration flights ..on complaining the cabin crew handed some extra beer !!

Like every international airline you need to order your special meal if you have dietary requirements. Don't blame the airline for your stupidity.

Something similar happened to me on my return flight using Emirates, my bags were opened and someone stole a Gucci belt. Emirates says is going to pay for the stolen item, but only 50% of its value since I bought it more than 4 years ago! Even if old and used a Gucci belt still is in perfect condition and like new.

Thanks for the feedback guys! In hindsight I should have left the wallet.

My complaint was more that no-one told me this was standard procedure to cancel the subsequent flights. And to the travel agent,MY travel agent did not consider it as a no show and was equally...

Imagine if emirates had to follow behind every customer who left their wallet and travel documents. You agree to a term of travel when you buy your ticket and you are the one broke those terms not getting on the first plane.

It's not their fault they were doing what every airline in the world does.

U miss your first flight, u loose all flights after. Now you know

Emirates Airlines is always spoken highly of and one who is immigrating for the first time would assume that a reputable airline like Emirates would explain all terms and conditions.My husband and I had booked our flights from durban to calgary assuming that all will be well and the only visa that we actually needed was the canadian visa. From the word go, I have been having problems with Emirates because when you call the callcentre and ask about payments or advise attitude seems to be the problem.Thay just give you a 031 number and after dialling and being on hold or listening to a voice machine ur airtime is getting wasted and one also becomes very frustrated.Emirates was not helpful at all.Luckily for me,a friend of mine knew where they were situated in Umhlanga.By this time anyone would have been very frustrated and just want to pay for airline tickets.We eventually get to emirates there are 4consultants sitting there and one thinks why isn't the phone being answered when no ones busy?We paid in Cash the full amount required and the consultant who helped us just explained the refund, cancellation policy.we asked questions about baggage as my friend told us to ask about etc

Emirates Airlines' Lousy Pursor

Right after boarding for a long haul Seattle - Dubai flight with a 14 month onld todeller the kid was a bit active and wanted to explore the soroundings, as my wife and I made all effort to limit her movement, we were threatend to be off loaded from flight or be reported to the security because, the pursor (Ghattas Massoud) said quote "Its against the law of the United States to walk around cabin, specially crossing the curtain into 1st class", since we chased the toddler a couple of times to the 1st class section. Our seats were the very first row in business class, bulkhead seat. He then proceeded to report me to the ground station manager and we were moved to the middle of business class cabin but in a very rude and forcefull or else way. Mr. Massoud was acting very ergantly and did not show any sign of comprehension when dealing with a small child. A very bitter expereince that I will never forget, as it made for a very unfriendly atomsphere.

Cher Mme Hana, Merci pour l `email mais sincerement c`est pas acceptable de changer les vols de cette maniere la. Ma situation est la suivante: - Ma reservation est liee avce celle de ma femme et ma fille - J`ai reserve un hotel pour passer la nuite du 24 julllet a l`aeroport de Dubai. Emirates doit me rembourser les frais de reservation - Je dois etre a KL le 26 juillet matin Ces annulation sont devenues repetitives, c`est la deuxieme pendant un mois pour moi et c`est pas acceptable de la part d`une copagnie comme emirates. J`exige un dedomagement pour toute cette perturbation (vol, hotel, conge). Une copagnie qui se respecte doit respecter les egagements de ses clients. Priere de me repondre le plus tot possible.

Emirates Airlines sells you a ticket and then denies you on board due to lack of seat.

Emirates airlines will reject you from boarding even if you have purchased a ticket due to over booking and lack of seat.My brother was denied along with 10 other passengers because they didn't have seat.They sell the ticket to you and then they don't have a seat for you.The Dubai airport staff of emirates treat you like *** and nobody question them.They lie to get themselves out of trouble.It is a corrupted young airline system.Flight no. dear Mahsa,

I would like to explain to you that nearly every airline in the world over sells their flights. When u purchase a ticket you agree to these terms in the contract..

Whet happened on emirates could happen and will happen on any full flight on a major airline.

The airline has to over sell the flights on the average of how many people miss the flight each day. That way they don't loose money.
