Emirates Airlines in Mumbai, Maharashtra - Mishandling my booking

I was informed at the boarding gate my PRE booked seat had been given away to another family without my consent . This is unacceptable that a PRE assigned be given away 1) without my consent 2) after my boarding pass has been issued I had PRE booked my seat for a reason and I do not appreciate my PRE booked seat being given away without my consent The lady at the check in counter was very rude The meals on the flight had not been arranged properly Please improve service quality and look into this to avoid losing customersb !! !!

Yeah or possibly because Emirates Airline will give away your seat to an Emirati, Muslim, Arab because unless you fit in one of these three categories your nothing to them but a money bag.

Hahaha. Thisnis funny I used to work at check in and we got this one alot the emiratis and arabs complain we give away their seats to indians and europeans and vice versa. Ita a load of rubbish, we get screamed at worse by the arabs and the indians but guess what it doesnt get you anywhere.

READ YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS! - Your pre booked seat is not guaranteed.

It just isn't. It isnt given away to spite you. Its only ever done to accommodate a real and serious need. EG familys sat apart, unaccompanied minors sat next to men.

etc. etc.

Like previous comment. You didn't pay extra for your pre booked seat like other airlines do to guarantee you your seat.

you didn't in fact pay a single extra penny for your 'PRE booked seat' and in fact chances are that seat went to a disabled passenger or to keep a family together or or or? get off your high horse and for one second start thinking about someone other than yourself

My opinion, you should blame yourself and not Emirates as they were merely doing their job.

They should only confirm the 6 months prior to boarding and not at the time of booking as it is the travelers obligation to ensure you are familiar with the end country's regulations.

Emirates Airlines in Manila, Manila - Terrible Customer Service

Their flight attendants, ground crew and ticket person were all rude. During my flight I saw a male and female attendant in an intimate conversation in spite of me struggling to put my luggage in the overhead compartment. Some flight attendant also stepped on my foot. The cabin crew was very irritable and she raised her voice at me when I threw my cup into her garbage bag. They even forgot to give me my arrival card and customs declaration card. It was the worst flight of my life. The cabin crew were all Caucasians and they had this air of arrogance since they were serving Asians. The worst flight of my life!

You 'THREW' your half empty cup at another human being and are surprised they raised their voice and were irritable. How would you have reacted were the situation reversed?

The flight attendants were talking to each other before the flight took off!!!; AND they didnt help YOU put YOUR bags in the overhead compartment, maybe next time don't bring half the contents of your house on as 'hand luggage'!

How did the flight attendant step on your foot? did she purposefully jump on it while your feet were where they were supposed to be. OR perhaps did you decide you would just leave your feet dangling out in the aisles for people to trip on.

I lost my ring in Flight from Dubbai to Jeddah on 27th of June, instead of allowing me to find it with ease I was told that they will get it found by cleaners and will update me. I had shared my business card with my Indian # as well as KSA # , still waiting for update by them. Not sure how much time they take to clean the aircraft. I was seated at 42J on Flight # EK801. I request them to update me by e-mail whether they found it nor not. My Skywards membership # is 387549761. PLEASE HELP.

Emirates Airlines in Shanghai, Shanghai - DIVERTED FLIGHT

Was flying to Shanghai from Dubai on a Business trip, flight got diverted to Seoul, South Korea without proper explanation. Was first delayed in the plane on ground for about 2 hrs then eventually told to dis-embark to the Airport for something to eat. Eventually was delayed in Seoul for over 5 hrs, there was no apology or explanation from Emirates staff in Seoul or informed of what was going on etc.. Missed all booked appointments in Shanghai. Complained to Emirates, no positive outcome. No proper apology what so ever or offer of compensation after sending several emails to them, saying that the matter is no closed

Do people actually book their business appointments within 5 hours of landing after a 9 hours flight into a city????? It was 5 hours delayed and u missed ALL your appointments????

Did you really book ALL of them within 5 hours of the scheduled landing time? U r not a very responsible businessman i would say.

So you would've prefered the pilot to continue in what was most likely an unsafe situation either due to weather or because of a technical issue. Rather than diverting and making sure it was safe for you and the 500 other people on board to fly.

Do you really think the pilots just decided you know what i really wanna get my hands on that new S4 think im just gonna pop into seoul for few hours......

Emirates Airlines in London, England - Unfair customer treatment by flight center and emirates

We were not told by flight center we needed a visa to travel to vietnam. We bought two alternative tickets for the same day to phuket partially using the same legs. (London to dubai). Emirates do not want to refund 1 £ on the basis of legal arguments. This is totally unfair!! We know legally we should have taken care of the visas but Emirates did not lose out since we bought other tikets with them on the same day. No comment needed on flight center!! What is the use of a travel agnt if they don t provide that simple information.

Its hilarious.My first thing upon deciding to travel to a country is to put on Google: visa requirements for eg. to Vietnam for British nationals.

Then i read how to ge tthe visa, whats the cost of it, once i hold the visa, i look for the tickets and the hotel. I guess the travel agent never had that crossing her mind even, that you are not holding a visa, if you have decided to travel there.

By the way, are you complaining about the travel agency or its Emirates' fault that you didnt check your visa requirements?

People, even though its good to vent off some of the frustration, i also like to complain just to calm down, but why do you blame others for being *** and not having checked it before the trip? Now whats left is to learn from it, and be more careful next time, and im sure u will have a wonderful holiday with noone to blame.

Just like you expect an airline to take you from agreed upon point a to point b. the airline expects you to have sufficient documentation, ie a passport and in this case a visa. If you want to be treated like a child don't travel.

I have booked 3 tickets for my wife & two kids aged of 2 years & 3 years, my wife thought that to quit carry the cabin luggage which will figure around 15 kgs for 3 tickets, so that she can travel with kids conveniently and when she move book check-in of 90 kgs...

I felt the same way. Emirates crew in hyderabad especially screwing people with the luggage.

They made me pay 50$ for extra 2kgs. Not going to Travel with Emirates again.

Emirates Airlines - Emirates Worst Customer Service

I booked the tickets using Emirates.com website for my travel between Charlotte, NC to Bangalore, India. First section of travel is between Charlotte to Washington, DC is through USAirways. After booking the ticket, I called USAirways and they never able to see the reservation. I called Emirates and USairways several times. But never got resolved. During check-in at Charlotte, it took more than an hour to resolve the issues. Then I have to argue with USairways for baggage fees because it was not showing as one reservation. After all this, my UAairways flight was delayed because of Fog. I called Emirates from the airport and asked them to help me in putting me in another flight. They told me that I have to deal with USairways. At the end, USairways booked me through Lufthansa. Somehow we reached Bangalore. While returning from India, I called Emirates on the day of return. They told me that my reservation was cancelled and they cannot help me and I have to call USAirways. As you know, dealing with USAirways in India is not easy. I called USAirways from India and they told me that they sent the flight information to Emirates on Jan 12th. But Emirates is saying that they never received any information from USAirways. I got stranded in India and I was extremely mad on Emirates because they are the one collected my money. I went to airport and I talked to USairways and Lufthansa and they put me in their flight. But got screwed up at Bombay because of last minute change. I had a worst travel nightmare because of using Emirates.Com. No one in emirates tried to help me. They are sending me all kind of emails to my email account. But they never send an email on my flight cancellation. After coming back to USA, I filed a complaint with Emirates. No proper answer for this mess. They are saying that it is USAirways fault. I called Emirates NY number and they never pick up the phone. While I booked the ticket using Emirates.Com, I thought that they are acting as my travel agent. But no one tried to give me answer about the Emirates.com role. Never ever use emirates.com for your flight booking. It will be good, if everything goes fine. Otherwise, you will be screwed. I paid the emirates for my travel service. But zero customer service at the end.

I know and understand how you feel. I had the misfortune myself to fly with Emirates, it was my first time and will surely be my LAST.

Emirates Airlines in Houston, Texas - Worst customer service

I recently flew on Emirates with my then 9month old from Nairobi to Houston with a stopover in Dubai. Getting to Houston I find out that my sons stroller is lost. Fill out appropriate paperwork and the wait begins. After two weeks of waiting I am informed that stroller is lost and they can send a replacement. I tell them unless its the exact same one that will not be possible as I have bought some attachments for it. So I told ok we will look into refund and it would take a few weeks. I say ok and go ahead and get a stroller in the meantime as I need one. After 30 I get a canal and am told we found your stroller. I am happy with that but I inquire if I will be allowed to take the new stroller back with me. I am informed that I will have to call closer to my departure date. I have meanwhile sent an email to customer service in NY Fast forward to this week.. I am trying to see if I can be allowed to bring my stroller that I had to purchase as extra luggage and FINALLY receive an email Further to your email and telephone conversation with my colleague as previously stated we will not be able to grant your request as to permit excess baggage for your return flight. Really? I am very disappointed with this airline
